WALKING ON MY HANDS IN SO MUCH FUN!

This is Aliya's new favorite thing to do! Well, besides her recent OBESSION with her BALL PUPPET SHOW (from Baby Einstein My First Signs). It's not the whole show mind you, it lasts maybe thirty seconds and she wants to watch it over and over and over. She just points at the TV... BALL, BALL, BALL.. until you play it and then laughs and laughs. And if you don't get the message she graps the remote and says BALL, BALL, BALL until you do! :) And if she isn't asking for the BALL show it's BLUE... as in Blue's Clues.

ALIYA LOVES HER LIL SIS!

Aliya (for about the last week) has had to lift up my shirt everytime we or someone else talks about her little sister and point at my belly button! She often follows it up by giving my belly a kiss and loves! This morning she was snuggling her little sister and even had to wave to her! It is too cute!

THE ANIMALS ARE GROWING BY THE DAY AND THE WORDS!

So as you can see from the cougar pics the cougar says roar, she also knows the bear says roar, and whenever she walks into the new animal room (old computer room) she says DEER and points at the horns and pictures! The horse now neighs instead of moos and the turkey says gobble gobble as of a couple days ago. She also makes a fish face for fish. She repeats everything we say almost but is really starting to put a lot of words to the items herself. Last week or so she always like to point out the moon and the last few days she's been saying moon too. Yesterday I was talking to my mom and lost her on her cell and Aliya kept pointing at the phone Nana, Nana, Nana. And last night she thought Papa Deets was Jerry on Big Brother! I turned on the TV and Jerry was on there and she pointed at him and said Papa, Papa, Papa! She was convinced it was him!

After we were done taking pictures Jamey had to hide the cougar because that's all Aliya wanted to do is go "THAT WAY" to see it and then she says ROAR! She even had to give it kisses! She went to go find it and climbed on the bed and kept pointing at the bed looking around with her hands in the air like "What did you do with it"? I thought she was going to cry when it was gone.

ALIYA'S DR. VISIT!

Aliya had her follow-up visit today as she had been losing weight since her 12 month check- up. She had a bad case of diarrhea that lasted 3 weeks which is what we figured was the cause, but at her 15 month check-up (after she was well) she had lost more weight. We were so excited today she gained 1 lb. 6 oz. in the last month!!! YEAH!! We will go back in two months to check it again to make sure she is still gaining at a good rate. She now weighs 22 lbs. 3 oz.

Aliya had been having a really rough day... she's working on three teeth and another one half way in... I needed to start dinner so I put her on the counter to help because she was freakin out every time I put her down and she went to town!

This is the second time in here life she has fallen asleep in there and both have been within the last month or so!

We were cleaning out the closet and this is what Aliya wanted to wear! A 6-9 month dress with this vest over the top!

We had a great time camping with Jamey's cousin Mike, Kelly, Sawyer, Presley, Auntie Karissa and cousin Noel (wellie). It wasn't exactly beach weather but we still had a blast! The kids played in the water some on Friday and it was warm enough to get into swim suits and play in the sand on Saturday. It was very WINDY and we didn't even use the boat or the waverunners. Notice we had pants and sweatshirts on during the day part of the time. The kids didn't seem to care they were happy as can be going for walks, throwing rocks in the lake, climbing on logs and playing in the sand. Aliya loved looking at the stars at night and pointing them out to us! I think we really wore Sawyer out. Sunday she just kept saying mama I want to go home and take a rest! She waited in the car for a half hour before it was time to go! We'll have to do it again next year but a little eariler in the season!
